We are delighted and really proud to announce that Madeley School have been awarded the Gold Artsmark by the Arts Council England. Through a lot of work in the Art department supported by colleagues across the school we have been able to evidence the excellent arts and creative provision that we offer at Madeley.
Dr Darren Henley OBE, Chief Executive of the Arts Council, said: “I would like to congratulate Madeley School on their Artsmark Award. Becoming an Artsmark school demonstrates that through offering a broad, ambitious and creative curriculum, young people have the opportunity to develop character and resilience, increasing their knowledge, curiosity and skills that will remain with them through to adult life.”
