Hi, my name is Ruby and I am honoured to have the opportunity to be head girl at Madeley this year. I have been so grateful to attend the school, as it has given me a supportive and positive environment straight from year 7 when I first walked through the door, all the way to my final year. Now, I would love to give the same support and approachability that I received at the school to be a good role model and allow all students across the school to inspire excellence.
The school has given me so much across my five years, and I think taking on this role is the perfect opportunity to give something back. I want to make sure everyone at Madeley is equally heard and valued, as well as allowing them to embrace many new opportunities and experiences to help everyone have the best experience they can at school, whilst striving to be the best that they can be. Overall, school is a time that everyone can hopefully look back on with pride and fond memories, which I hope to inspire as head girl.
I am really looking forward to working further with the rest of the prefect team this year, and taking on the role I have been awarded with a confident and positive attitude.

Hello, my name is George and I’m the head boy at Madeley School. When I acquired this leadership, I felt honoured and inspired to be a role model in a school of such a high standard. Since joining the school, my skills and talents have flourished, as well as meeting friends for life because of the joyful environment in which we’re surrounded. I wish to help the school maintain this ethos to make sure that new pupils of the school benefit in the same way as I did when I first walked through the doors. I hope that I give the school the capacity to inspire excellence and ensure that the love of learning remains after I leave.
After five years of being at this school, I look back with gratitude at the opportunities given to me and how they have benefitted me. As head boy, I would like to encourage everyone to grasp every chance they get to thrive and when the time comes that they leave, feel satisfied that they’ve left with a growth mindset and a positive attitude.
I can’t wait to work with my peers, the prefect team, and am esteemed to carry out my role that I have been awarded with diligence.
