At Madeley School we are constantly looking at ways to develop more effective careers information, guidance and support for all our students. We believe that employer engagement is key to this, and that collaborative relationships between schools and employers can bring significant mutual benefits.

The Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) and the Confederation of British Industry Industry (CBI) have been working together to help employers engage more effectively with schools. A copy of their information guide can be found using the link below.

The school has an ongoing commitment to CEIAG development. The careers framework below highlights the planned career activities for the pupils of Madeley School for 2023-24. The CEIAG programme is delivered in distinct blocks as part of the Personal Development programme and as an ongoing commitment from all staff to embed careers across the curriculum with time appropriate employer engagement activites in lessons and as stand alone events. The link below shows the PD programme for the year 2023-24.
